Sybase Snags Two Industry Awards for Enterprise Mobility Leadership

Sybase Unwired Platform and Afaria Recognized For Product Excellence, Innovation and Customer Satisfaction

This week, Frost & Sullivan awarded Sybase with its 2009 North American Mobility Award for Mobile Enterprise Platforms, with respect to the Sybase UnWired Platform. Along with that Info Security Products Guide named Sybase the winner of the 2009 Global Product Excellence in Wireless/Mobile Security Solution Customer Trust Award for Sybase Afaria.

Sybase's own Willie Jow, Vice President of Mobility Product Marketing said that “These award recognitions are further testament to Sybase’s proven enterprise mobility leadership and ability to extend core data, business processes, applications and services to millions of users around the world".

Willie also said that “Unwiring the enterprise is proving to increase productivity, improve efficiency, and reduce costs in today’s rapidly changing business environment, but it requires a comprehensive mobile enterprise application platform that can support, manage and secure multiple device types”
