Sybase has announced two industry award wins for its enterprise mobility platform. Frost & Sullivan awarded Sybase with its 2009 North American Mobility Award for Mobile Enterprise Platforms and Info Security Products Guide named Sybase the winner of the 2009 Global Product Excellence in Wireless/Mobile Security Solution Customer Trust Award.
“Unwiring the enterprise is proving to increase productivity, improve efficiency, and reduce costs in today’s rapidly changing business environment, but it requires a comprehensive mobile enterprise application platform that can support, manage and secure multiple device types,” said Willie Jow, vice president of Mobility Product Marketing, Sybase. “These award recognitions are further testament to Sybase’s proven enterprise mobility leadership and ability to extend core data, business processes, applications and services to millions of users around the world.”
The Frost & Sullivan Award for End-to-End Mobile Enterprise Solutions is presented each year to the company that has demonstrated excellence in new products and technologies within its industry. The 2009 North American Mobility Award for Mobile Enterprise Platforms recognized Sybase® Unwired Platform for pioneering a simple mobile deployment and development process in a single environment, offering out-of-the-box integration with a variety of enterprise applications, and providing IT heightened levels of mobile device management capabilities while affirming a compelling level of security. Frost & Sullivan is presenting Sybase the award at its Go Mobile 09 conference on May 5 at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco.
