According to a recent survey from BiTE Interactive, 66 percent of iPhone and 63 percent of Android owners prefer native apps “that can better make full use of all their smartphone’s capabilities” over HTML5 web apps. Due in part to slow HTML5 adoption, Microsoft has reversed its “whitelist” policy, now allowing Flash to run by default unless the site in question is on a blacklist.
