According to a recent survey from BiTE Interactive, 66 percent of iPhone and 63 percent of Android owners prefer native apps “that can better make full use of all their smartphone’s capabilities” over HTML5 web apps.  Only 19 percent indicated they do not care if an app they are using is native or HTML5.  Read Original Content

Due in part to slow HTML5 adoption, Microsoft has reversed its “whitelist” policy, now allowing Flash to run by default unless the site in question is on a blacklist.  Microsoft states the change “enhances web compatibility and allows users to access sites that don’t have HTML5 alternatives in place”.  Read Original Content
