STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN -- (Marketwire) -- 10/23/12 -- Panopticon Software, the leading provider of visual data analysis software for real-time and large volume data, today announced that Bruno Saint-Cast has joined the company as a senior vice president. He will be part of the company's executive management team and will help develop and execute strategies for addressing new market opportunities in telecommunications, energy, transportation, and manufacturing as well as for continued expansion in financial services.
Saint-Cast began his career with IBM and spent the following 20 years successfully starting up and managing European operations for several US companies, including Sybase (now SAP), Brio Technology (now Oracle) and Salesforce.com. His most recent experience was with Tableau Software, where he served as VP European Sales and successfully introduced Tableau to the European market.
Saint-Cast commented, "Panopticon is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the real time and big data revolution; our products are well aligned with mission critical requirements in several fast-growing sectors. In addition to capital markets, where Panopticon has traditionally had a dominant presence, we now have customers involved in energy production and distribution, telecoms network management, healthcare, transportation, and logistics -- all of whom have similar visualization needs."
Saint-Cast continued, "I am struck by how easy it is to integrate Panopticon into established workflows within our client organizations. This capability is part of the essential design of the system; it makes implementation efficient and vastly increases the degree and speed of user acceptance compared with less elegant solutions. Panopticon delivers the benefits of 'Agile Visual Analytics' and enhances the ability of senior managers in large corporations to take a global view of their data. All of this puts Panopticon at the leading edge of modern Business Intelligence."
Willem De Geer, Panopticon's Managing Director, stated, "Bruno will help us refine our growth strategies and also be a major player in our sales campaigns as we expand our presence beyond capital markets."
Panopticon information visualization technology supports rapid visual analysis of large data sets and real-time data in financial services, telecommunications, energy and other data-intensive industries. www.Panopticon.com
