SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- At the HP Global Partner Conference in Las Vegas, BMMsoft Corporation announced the availability of high-speed EDMT® 9 for large enterprise that can be deployed instantly and without intensive programming needed by other Big Data systems. EDMT 9 performs real-time acquisition, indexing, access and cross-analysis of both structured data (i.e. database records) and unstructured data such as emails, social media blogs, documents and multimedia files.
"The combination of EDMT® 9, Sybase IQ 15.4 and HP Proliant DL 980 Server and flexible Cloud, On-Premise or Hybrid deployment offers the Big Data functionality to large enterprises who need quick deployment and don't want to spend time on long development projects," said Paul Krneta, CTO of BMMsoft. "We have built the world's largest Big Data system – 1 Petabyte in size - in 2008 and the world's fastest Big Data loader in 2011, and with EDMT 9 we've added mobility to meet the needs of a much wider Enterprise customer base to solve their Big Data problem on the move."
Email, SMS, documents, multi-media, web content, Social networks and database transactions contain critical insight and enable multi-channel analytics, reporting, litigations, audit, fraud detection, compliance and forensic analysis. Now, mobile users have full and secure access to EDMT Solution 9 using a variety of mobile devices.
"Today business leaders can gain real benefit and competitive advantage from this solution. At a time when businesses are challenged to find opportunity in change the combination of BMMsoft (EDMT), Sybase IQ, and HP's DL980 is a high value solution that leverages Big Data and mines its hidden value to drive maximum business impact and revenue growth," said Robert Desautels, President of Harvard Research Group.
EDMT 9 uses patented parallel ingest processing and proprietary real-time indexing methods to automatically tag, create metadata and ingest an entire data set into EDMT® 9 at speeds necessary to handle Big Data by small and medium enterprises. Resulting unified data can then be accessed and analyzed using common reporting, audit, search and litigation tools, as well as advanced tools such as SAP Business Objects®. EDMT 9 for Big data comes as prepackaged appliance ranging from 72 TB to 40,000 TB (40 Petabyte) and 16 cores to 15,365 cores – thus being able to address very wide Big Data spectrum of problems.
