Confio Software, the makers of the award-winning Ignite database performance management software solution, will host four sessions at the upcoming Rocky Mountain Oracle User Group (RMOUG) Training Days event, taking place Feb. 14 – 16, 2012 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
Recognized Oracle database administrators (DBAs) and Confio team members Kathy Gibbs, Dean Richards and Janis Griffin will present sessions designed to educate today’s Oracle DBAs about topical issues affecting their DBA peers, including the impact of VMware in physical server environments, improving performance on RAC and specific tuning tips.

This presentation will explore the fundamentals of using vSphere for monitoring databases running in a VMware environment.

Confio DBA Kathy Gibbs will conduct a showcase session: Advanced Performance Tuning Tips with Ignite8
This presentation outlines a method for determining the best approach for tuning SQL statements by utilizing response time analysis.

Thurs. Feb. 16 1:30 – 2:30p
Confio DBA Janis Griffin will conduct a session: Using Oracle Execution Plans for Performance Gains
This presentation will discuss the different operators found in an execution plan, and how they consume resources.
