Today was the first day of SYS-CON's iPhone Developer Summit, in the Roosevelt Hote in NYC... and I'm pleased to report that the first day ROCKED!
We had an average of 65+ attendees in the 5 sessions today, concentrating & listening to our technical presenters. Some attendees were already iPhone Developers, some newbie's and some just here to understand what the excitement is all about for developing for this cool device.
So basically a real cross section, which makes for a exciting conference!

I'm sure they wre not disappointed, as the first presenter to kick off the conference was Julio Barros giving an cool overview of Getting Started Programming with Objective-C and the iPhone, followed by Senthil Krishnapillai of Sybase, who presented a very nice overview on Sybase's view of Breaking the Mold - iPhone for the Mobile Enterprise.
Straight after lunch followed Jason Christensen with Combining REST and Context for Killer iPhone Apps, Joe Pezzillo with a awesome session From the Trenches: Key Lessons from the Enterprise iPhone and 13 lessons. Finally to end the day a equally awesome session from Ernest Svehla on Mastering View Controllers....He made it all sound so easy ;-)
Phew... thank you so much guys! Lots to digest today, I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
